The ExploreScience Mentoring Program for Doctoral Researchers is starting with a new group mentoring format
What is special about the new format? It enables valuable exchange and networking with an experienced mentor on the one hand and with your own peers on the other.

University Sports classes program for the summer semester of 2024 will be available on April 3rd 2024. The registration period starts on April 7th 2024.

The Department of Early Career Researchers and Diversity presents their new diversity concept “"Intelligent Through Diversity," which is now available in German and English. To enable equal opportunities in higher education, Rector Prof. Wolfram Ressel also signed the Charter of Diversity. The goal: Students, teaching staff, and all those active in the areas of science, administration, and technology can work in an environment that promotes diversity and is free of prejudice.

The alumni network has established country groups on LinkedIn. The intention is to give alumnae and alumni of the University of Stuttgart the opportunity of a lively exchange online, encouraging get-togethers in reality.

The content of the current issue of forschung leben focuses on the vision of conquering diseases. Researchers are working every day to bring the fulfillment of this vision a little closer. This calls for interdisciplinarity, and this is where the strengths of the University of Stuttgart come into play - for example, through its research area "Biomedical Systems".

The Heinz Bach Prize is awarded by VdF HLK Stuttgart e.V. and ITGA BW, in cooperation with the Institute for Building Energetics, Thermotechnology and Energy Storage (IGTE) at the University of Stuttgart. The aim is to promote young scientists in commemoration of the work of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinz Bach.

Serial Events

Would you like to get to know other alumnae and alumni of the University of Stuttgart and exchange ideas with them? Do you have questions regarding the alumni network "alumnius" or have you been wanting to get in touch with the University of Stuttgart for a long time? 

The "Alumni Global Hour" offers space for an open exchange with alumnae and alumni worldwide who would like to get in touch with the University of Stuttgart and with other alumnae and alumni. No registration necessary.

When and where? 

Starting from May 2021, on every 7th of a month, the "Alumni Global Hour" will take place at 4 p.m. Stuttgart time. The next date is:

  • The next Alumni Global Hour will take place on the 7th of October 2024. We are delighted to welcome Christine Kispert and Rubina Zern-Breuer from TRACES. They will discuss the topics Business Relation, Career Service and Entrepreneurship.
